I remember every year growing up, the excitement of going with my parents to get our Christmas Tree. I remember feeling like we were looking for the perfect tree that contained Christmas magic. I am still as excited every year when my family goes to get our tree, but it's now joy I find in seeing my children looking for the perfect tree. Some might say that the plastic store bought trees are more convenient, but they are missing out on the family tradition of going out and getting a tree. I know that my kids will remember our yearly trip to the tree farm where we spend time together singing carols, ridding in the horse drawn wagon, and finding our tree containing Christmas magic.
Pioneer Trails Tree Farm is the farm where we find our tree. They have an enormous selection of trees to choose from (you can use their map to locate the kind of tree you prefer), horse drawn wagon rides, fires to warm up by, concessions with hot chocolate, a gift shop, and photo spots to capture your memories. My husband loves that they even shake and bundle the tree for us.
Pioneer Trails Tree Farm is open now through December 22.
Weekdays 11am-6pm and Weekends 9am- 5pm
Horse drawn wagon rides available on weekends beginning November 24
